Founder’s Message

I’m humbled to be working with a board of advisors and housing experts who have collectively impacted tens of thousands of homes and projects. There’s room for more on our team.

My economic development experience is rooted in my belief that our communities, which boast an unprecedented quality of life, have even more economic and community development potential. Since I relocated to the Southwest corner of Southwest Michigan a quarter-century ago I refocused my career toward that mission. I earned the highest International Economic Development Council certifications of CEcD (Certified Economic Developer) and EDP (Entrepreneurship Development Professional), the Oklahoma University Certificate in Economic Development, Certificates in Nonprofit Management from Indiana’s Lilly School and the University of Notre Dame, and gained experience through countless development projects.

I believe that we can share this region, drive meaningful growth and success, and make living room for everyone in our communities.

Community Land Trusts provide housing to lower-and-middle-income workforce individuals and families. Community Land Trusts are community owned, led, and managed. Community Land Trusts assure that homes will remain affordable in perpetuity.
